It did hurt, yes, which is to be expected of course, as it is a very sensitive area! It last’s for only a second or two though, so it’s easy to handle (although the build-up is the worst). It was sore afterwards, but it didn’t hurt. I have had a little bit of annoyance with mine, it didn’t heal easily (and still hasn’t, although it’s almost there). Just remember to keep it clean, with a saline solution or whatever else your piercer recommends. Definitely has become more sensitive since piercing it, and the sensitivity has gotten in the way a few times whilst in the process of toughening up (especially in the bedroom!), but as soon as it is healed it shall be swell! :-)
